1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef
3/4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. finely chopped onion (optional)
1 large beaten egg
1-1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/3 c. ketchup
2 T. brown sugar
1 T. yellow mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except the last 3. Place meat loaf in lightly greased 9"x5" loaf pan. Combine last 3 ingredients for topping and pour over meat loaf. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

This is actually a recipe that Jo Ann gave me and I think she told me that Dave found it. So I named it for Dave. It's delicious and the leftovers make wonderful warm sandwiches. Thanks Jo and Dave.
