1 gal. milk
1/4 lb. butter melted
2 cups sugar
2 cups white rice
1/4 cup vanilla
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk in large pot, add melted butter.
Stir in sugar, rice & vanilla. Bring to boil & simmer, stirring constantly for 1 1/2 hours. Remove from heat and immediately add 4 beaten eggs and stir well.

This is a good alternative recipe to Mom's baked rice pudding.
