"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Bread Pudding, by Janet Smith Guy, is from Smith Family Favorites,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Put milk in baking dish, add sugar. Separate eggs, beat yolks and add to milk. Beat whites, stir in lightly. Break bread and add until thick enough. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350° (about 30 min). Bake until it boils. Take out right away.
I could eat the whole dish at one setting! (daughter Janice) It's that good! Served at 42nd St Cafe
