1/4 margarine
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
1 regular package german chocolate cake mix
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 14 oz package caramels
6 oz chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare cake mix as package directs. Bake half of the prepared cake batter in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking pan 15 minutes 350.

Melt margarine with caramels and milk in top of double boiler. Remove from heat and cool slightly before drizzling over top of cake layer. Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips. Spoon remaining batter over caramel mixture and bake an additional 25 minutes at the same temperature.
