3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla or flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add powdered sugar and continue to beat until thick. Add softened shortening and beat until thoroughly mixed. Stir in flavoring.
