25 to 30 medium cucumbers 8 large white onions 1/2 c. canning salt 5 c. Cider vinegar 5 c. Sugar 2 tbsp. Mustard Seed 1 tsp. Turmeric 1/2 tsp. Cloves
Wash cucumbers & slice thin add chopped onions: Add salt and let stand three hours and then drain. Combine vinegar, sugar and spices in large kettle. Bring to boil. Add cucumbers heat thoroughly but do not boil. Pack while hot into sterilized jars and seal.
