Apple Nut Coffee Cake Recipe

1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c sour cream
2 c finely chopped apples

1 c chopped walnuts
1 c brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c melted butter

Cream together 1/2 c butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and add to butter mixture alternating with sour cream. When mixed well fold in apples and spread batter evenly in greased 13x9x2 baking pan. Mix together topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter.

Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes
