24 large mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 lb. pork sausage (optional)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 T. chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Remove stems from mushrooms. Chop stems finely. Saute garlic in 1/2 cup butter. Add chopped stems, breadcrumbs, sausage, cheese, salt, pepper and parsley. Saute mushroom caps briefly in remaining butter.

Fill caps with stuffing, place in shallow casserole. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.
