1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
6 oz can of mushroom pieces
1 can chicken broth
1 1/2 cups half and half
3/4 cup cooked wild rice
3 cups chopped chicken
1/4 cup pimento
2 tbsp parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onions in butter until tender. Stir in flour. Drain liquid from mushrooms and add enough chicken broth to make 1 1/2 cups. Stir until thickened with above mixture. Prepare rice as directed (I use 1 small box of Uncle Ben's and use the whole box) Add cream (1/2 and 1/2) Stir all ingredients together and put into casserole. Top with almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
