1/2 -1 inch grated ginger root
1-2 Tbsp. grated onion
1 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. ketchup
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2-1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
dash of cayenne pepper
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp water if needed to thin dressing

Mix all ingredients together. Better the second day.

Grate ginger root and onion with a microplane. You can find a microplane grater at bed bath and beyond, target, or walmart.

May not be the real thing but this is close. I make several batches at once and store in the refrigerator.
