2-1/2 cups flour
1 cup Crisco or margarine
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup milk
1 egg, separated
1 can Wilderness Cherry Pie Filling (other flavors
can also be used)
Butter (or margarine).


Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.

Blend together flour, Crisco, sugar and salt. In a separate bowl, blend milk and egg yolk. Add to flour mixture and mix.

Roll out a little over half and place in jellyroll pan.

Top with can of pie filling and dot with butter.

Roll out remaining crust and place on top of pie filling. Seal edges.

Beat egg white and brush over top of pastry. Slit holes in top.

Bake for 35 minutes or until lightly browned.

Glaze with powdered sugar frosting.
