2 sticks butter or margarine melted
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 apples chopped (gala or granny smith)
sprinkle apples with lemon juice
1 c. chopped pecans if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Blend melted butter sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.

Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; add to the above mixture until well blended. Stir in apples and nuts.

Spread into a 9x13 greased baking dish. Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool completely.

This is really good topped with cream cheese frosting too. Cream cheese makes everything better!!
