2 cans 17 ounces canned yams 1/2 cup dark Karo corn syrup 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup heavy cream or half and half 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Drain yams and put in a baking dish. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes.
In a saucepan mix remaining ingredients. Stir constantly until brought to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour over hot yams and Bake an additional 15 minutes basting often.
