2 medium onions
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 pounds zucchini
3 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup half and half
1 cup grated cheese
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon salt
pinch cayenne

Directions:
Directions:
Chop and saute onion in butter until clear and soft ( not brown). Wash and slice zucchini. Combine onion, squash and broth in heavy pan. Bring to a boil. Simmer until squash is tender ( 15 minutes). Add seasonings and puree all in the blender until smooth. Add half and half. Reheat but do not boil. Garnish with cheese.
