2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 C sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2 Eggs
1 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Measure flour, sugar, the baking powder and salt into bowl. Cut in shortening thoroughly until mixture looks like meal. Stir in eggs and milk just until blended.

Pat into a greased pan. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Cut and split short cake while warm; fill and top with berries. Serve warm with cream or ice cream or cool whip

Grandma would use enough flour to roll and cut with a cutter. I cheat and just put in a pan.
