1 pound dry white beans
1 small ham shank (leftover ham)
2 c chopped onions
1 c shredded carrots
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp pepper
2-3 tsp seasoned salt
4 qt water
1 c chopped celery
1/4 c chopped parsley
Instant potatoes to thicken

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans several hours or overnight, pour off water. Cook beans and ham 2 hours. Add vegetables and seasoning. Remove meat from bone, cut up, and return to soup.
