1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 (6 oz) package chocolate chips

Mix sugar, margarine, egg, water and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes until almost no ident remains when touched. Makes 5 1/2 dozen cookies.
