8oz. all purpose flour
2oz. butter
1oz. granulated sugar
4oz. milk
milk to glaze

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Sift flour. Rub in butter until mix resembles fine breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar & enough milk to mix to a soft dough.
Turn onto floured surface, knead lightly and roll out to a 3/4" thickness. Cut into 2" rounds and place on a floured baking sheet. Brush with milk to glaze. Bake 10min. Cool on wire rack. Serve with butter or cream and jam or curd.
