"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous
This recipe for Sunday Dinner Baked Steak, by Sherri Baker, is from The Baker Family Cookbook,

2-3 tenderized round steaks (cut into 4-6 servings) 1 can tomato soup 1 medium onion, sliced 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can water 1 T. Kitchen bouquet (browning sauce) Salt and pepper to taste
Flour and brown steaks in small amount of oil; season as desired. Remove steaks. Add water to pan drippings then add soups, onion, Kitchen bouquet, salt, and pepper to taste. Heat to boiling. In a large roaster, layer meat with onion/soup mixture, ending with the sauce. Bake 300º for 2 hours.
This sauce is great served with mashed potatoes with American cheese in the mashed potatoes. One of our family favorites!
