1 pkg. dry Italian dressing mix
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1-8 oz pkg. cream cheese, optional
2-4 lbs. chicken pieces, browned

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in microwave or sauce pan. Add Italian dressing mix and soup; mix well . Arrange chicken in crock pot . Pour butter/dressing/soup mix over chicken. Cook in crock pot on HIGH for about 2 1/2 hours (or on LOW for about 4 hours) . If adding cream cheese, add now and continue cooking in crock pot until chicken is done, about 30 minutes. Can serve over rice, but we like it with mashed potatoes.
