1 c flour 1 tbsp sugar 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp cinnamon dash ground cloves 2 tbsp molasses 1 tbsp vegetable oil 1 c buttermilk 1 egg
In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. In a small bowl, whisk together the molasses, oil, buttermilk, and egg. Slowly our liquids into the flour mixture and stir until uniform. Prepare the pancakes on a warmed, lightly greased griddle. Serve with applesauce.
