1 egg
1 scant c molasses
2/3 c water
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp soda
1 c raisins
1 c chopped walnuts
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
mix well, pour into well greased mould pan. steam for 1 hour

Dressing for steamed pudding:
2 eggs, separate and beat til thick (5-10 mins). Gradually add 1 c sugar to beaten yolks, continue beating while adding sugar, Then add beaten whites to mixture. Whip 1/2 pint heavy cream. Then fold whipped cream into egg/sugar mixture. Add 1 tsp lemon flavoring. Serve over steamed pudding.
