2 c. warm milk
2 egg
2 pkg. dry yeast
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c lard
1/4 c butter
2 tsp salt
6 c flour (about)

Directions:
Directions:
In a cup, put 1/2 cup warm milk and 1 teaspoon sugar, stir. Add yeast and stir until dissolved. Let it stand and get bubbly.
Place flour in a large bowl. Make a depression in the middle. Add warm milk, eggs, sugar, melted butter, salt and yeast mixture at once,making dough soft but not sticky. mix and knead until smooth. Place in a warm place, let rise to more than 1/2 its size. Pinch off dough the size of a large egg. Roll balls, then set in pan, greasing top of each ball. Let rise to a soft texture, make an impression fill with desired fruit filling. let rise 15 min. Bake 350 for 20-25min. Brush tops with butter while warm. May glaze if desired
