Pie crust: 1 1/3 c finely crushed vanilla wafers, 2 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/3 c unsalted melted butter.
Peanut Butter layer: 3/4 c powdered sugar,1//3c creamy peanut butter, 3 tbsp softened butter, 1/4 c chopped peanuts, reserve some for garnish.
Filling: 2/3 c sugar, 3 tbsp corn starch, 1 tbsp flour, 3 cups milk, 3 egg yolks, lightly beaten. 1/1/2 tsp vanilla, 3/4 c peanut butter 6 small frozen peanut butter cups, chopped, divided use.

Crust: preheat oven to 350. Spray 9 in pie dish with cooking spray. In bowl of a blender, combine wafers, and other crust ingredients . Mix until blended. Press into bottom & sides of pie dish, bake for 8 to 12 minutes. Take peanut butter ingredients, mix & spread into pie pan, sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Filling: in medium sauce pan combine sugar, cornstarch, flour & salt.Stir in milk until smooth. Bring to a boil, stirring for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, gradually add 1 c of filling into eggs, add back to the pan & boil for 2 minutes. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Cool. Fold in 5 chopped PB cups. Pour over PB filling in cooled pie shell. Frost in whipped cream, garnish the top with chopped PB cups and chopped peanuts.
