3 Cups dried apricots or peaches 2 1/2 cups boiling water 2/3 cups flour 1 cup sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 3 Tbls. butter
Cover fruit with water and let soak for at least 30 minutes. Add flour, sugar and spices and simmer until fruit is tender and mixture is thickened. Stir in butter until melted. Let cool before using to make pies.
