2 1/2 to 3 lbs. stewing chicken
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
3 T paprika
1 to 2 tsp salt
1 c sour cream
2 T cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Bring chicken to boil in enough water to almost cover chicken in the pot. Skim off foam. Add onion, paprika and salt. Simmer about 2 hours till chicken is done. Remove chicken.
Gravy:
Thicken liquid with cornstarch and a little water. Heat till bubbly. Add sour cream to the thickened gravy, stirring to blend; heat.
