2 C diced carrots 4 C diced onion 8 C shredded beets 4 c shredded cabbage 2 C cubed potatoes 12 C water 8 C tomato juice 4 T marg 4 T vinegar 8 bay leaves 4 sprigs fresh dill or 8 tsp dried salt & pepper
Combine all ingredients in large pot bring to boil and then turn down and simmer till done. Make ahead best when sits. Serve with scoop of sour cream!
