2 c. Flour
3 tsp. Baking Powder
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 tbsp. Shortening
1/2 c. lukewarm Water
Shortening or Lard for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in Shortening into dry ingredients until it looks like corn meal. Turn dough onto floured surface. Divide in half. Roll out each half and cut into 3 inch squares. Fry in deep hot grease about 30 seconds each side. Dust with Cinnamon and Sugar or Powdered Sugar or fill with Fruit Pie Filling.
