Topping:
10 oz. semi sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
cup chopped walnuts
2/3 cup sugar

Cake:
cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cups sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt.

Directions:

Topping: Mix topping ingredients together and set aside.

Cake:
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt on a sheet of wax paper or foil. Set aside. Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl until fluffy. Beat in eggs, sour cream and vanilla until well blended. On low speed, add flour mixture into batter, beating until smooth. Grease 10 tube pan. Spoon 1/3 of batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the topping mixture. Repeat. Layering two more times. Bake at 350 for 55 to 60 minutes until center test clean with a knife. Cook in pan on a wire rack for about 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
