1 lb. Ground beef
1 envelope onion soup mix
teaspoon salt
1-lb. Can tomatoes mashed
1-1/2 cup water
cup uncooked rice
1 small can early green peas drained
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef and onions, Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Cover & simmer for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Layer mixture in baking dish with cheese. Cover and bake 45 minutes. Turn oven off, add more cheese on top, and leave until melted.
