1/4 c oil
1 1/2 c rice
6 c water
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic salt or powder
1/4 c onion, chopped fine

Directions:
Directions:
Brown rice in oil on med heat in large skillet to a golden brown. Add water, tomato sauce, salt, garlic, and onions. Bring to boil. Turn heat down to low. Cook the rice on the lowest heat your stove can go. Cover and simmer for 45 min. Do not stir. Check after 1/2 hr. to make sure it does not cook dry. You want the rice to have a little juice when it is done but not much.
