Brownies:
1/2 C. butter
1 C. water
1/2 C. vegetable oil
1/4 C. cocoa
2 C. sugar
2 C. flour
1/2 t. salt
1/2 C. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 t. baking soda
1 t. vanilla

Icing:
1/2 C. butter
1/4 C. cocoa
1/3 C. buttermilk
1 box confectioners sugar
1 C. chopped nuts
1 t. vanilla

Directions:

Brownies:
Bring butter, water, oil and cocoa to a boil. Add sugar, flour and salt, mixing thoroughly. Next add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla mixing until smooth. Pour into greased 11x16 pan and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. If you use a 9x13, bake for 30 minutes. Ice immediately after baking so while it is in the oven prepare icing.

Icing:
Bring butter, cocoa and buttermilk to a boil. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, nuts and vanilla mixing thoroughly. Pour on still hot brownies.
