1 lb. box brown sugar
2/3 c. butter
3 eggs
2-3/4 c. sifted plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar and butter in a saucepan; stir over low heat until butter is melted and sugar well mixed. Cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well. Mix dry ingredients and add to mixture. Stir in nuts and chocolate bits. Pour into a greased 10"x14" pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350. Cool. Cut into squares.
