Peel peaches and cut in halves, put in quart jars. Add 1 C. sugar and fill bottles full of boiling water. Wipe mouth of bottle to remove sugar. Then put seals (bring to boil in water first) on and put in cold pack for 30 minutes. Bring water to a boil before putting bottles in.
