3 c apples, peaches, or blueberries
2/3 c sugar
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 c flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c shortening
3 tbsp milk
1 egg

Mix the fruit, 2/3 cup sugar and 2 tbsp. flour. Put in baking pan, dot with butter. Sift 1 cup flour, 2 tbsp sugar, baking powder and salt. Add shortening, milk and egg. Mix well and put on top of fruit. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
