3/4 c sugar
1/4 c soft shortening
1 egg
1/2 c milk
2 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c blueberries or more

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening and beat in egg. Add milk alternating with flour mixture. Last fold in blueberries. Spread in 8x8 or 7x11 pan and put crumb mixture on top.

Crumb Topping:1/2 c sugar, 1/3 c flour, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 c butter or margarine. Make like crumbs with pastry blender or fork. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes.
