1 C. butter
1 C. sugar
1 egg, separated
2 C. flour
1/2 t. cinnamon
1 T. water
1/2 C. chopped almonds
1 t. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and egg yolk. Stir together flour and cinnamon, blend with hands into creamed mixture. Pat evenly into lightly greased jelly roll pan. Beat water and egg white until frothy, brush over dough. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until very lightly browned. Cut immediately into finger like strips. Makes 50 ea 3"x 1" strips.
