1 C. butter
1/2 C. sugar
1/2 C. brown sugar
1 egg
2-1/4 - 2-1/2 C. sifted flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/4 t. cloves
1/2 C. finely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the butter, sugars and egg. To creamed mixture, add flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and walnuts. Shape mixture into rolls. Chill well. Slice very thing. Place 1 inch apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes.
