2 lbs hash browns, frozen
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup onion
1 pint sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw hash browns. In a large bowl mix margarine, chicken soup, and grated cheese. Add rest of ingredients and stir well into hash browns. Put in 9 x 12 baking dish. Sprinkle crushed corn flakes on top and dot generously with buter. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
