1 1/4 cups dried bread crumbs
3 TBSP. milk
1 egg
1/ 3 cup flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. mustard
2 TBSP finely chopped parsley
1 package cream cheese
8 ounces crumbled-cooked sausage
1/4 finely chopped onion
1 can of sauerkraut drained well
2 TBSP dried bread crumbs
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Drain kraut (squeeze between paper towels until almost dry), In skillet cook sausage and onion, brown and drain grease, Add kraut, 2 TBSP bread crumbs, cream cheese, parsley, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. Blend together and chill in refrigerator until firm. Shape into balls (golf ball size). Beat egg and milk together. Coat balls with flour, then dip into egg and milk mixture then roll in bread crumbs. Deep fry 400 degree oil until golden brown.
Freeze on cookie sheet and store in freezer bags.
Completely thaw before reheating.

John's mom, Patty Bryant, passed this recipe to me almost 15 years ago. This is one of John's favorite treats.....I seldom make this because it take so blasted long to prepare. I do love him....but....not sure he's worth all that....just kidding honey. I always make at least a triple batch! Usually more! They're great when friends drop by. Keep your freezer stocked!
