4 lg. onions, peeled and cut in rings
1/2 to 1 c. brown sugar (dark is best)
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 (15-oz) can lima beans
1 (16-oz) can pinto beans
1 (16-oz) can dark kidney beans
1 (16-oz) can light kidney beans
2 (16-oz) cans New England baked beans
8 crisp bacon slices

Directions:
Directions:
Place onions in skillet. Add sugar, mustard, salt and garlic powder. Cover and cook 20 minutes until onions are desired consistency. Mix with beans and bacon. Pour into casserole pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour OR place in crockpot and cook on low all day.

Use whatever beans you have in your pantry--black, pinto, kidney, chili. I only use one can of New England baked beans and the rest I mix and match. I prefer using crockpot!
