1 ham hock, cooked
1 onion, med. size
3 med. potatoes
2 c. milk
1 red chili pepper
1 green bell pepper
3 c. water
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Take meat from 1 ham hock. Add onion, peppers, and potatoes which have been chopped and add to corn kernels which have been cooked until done but still firm. Add water, salt, pepper and combine all ingredients with milk and cook for about 30 minutes (or until potatoes seem done to your taste).

Many Pennsylvania Dutch lived around us and so this recipe became a meal shared by Mr. Yoder when he would come to the house on Saturdays with homemade sausage and fresh eggs
