"When I'm at a Chinese restaurant having a hard time with chopsticks, I always hope that there's a Chinese kid at an American restaurant somewhere who's struggling mightily with a fork."--Rick Budinich

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe comes to us from mom's sister, Alice Spafford, and was a Christmas Eve ploy to keep me from seeing all the packages being wrapped and primarily to keep me out of the main flow of the house while Carol Ann and Grandma got everything ready. Notice the specific instructions. They were much more specific then. Didn't matter the reason, it kept me in the basement on this project most of the afternoon. The final result is still well worth the effort. Note: Using large marshmallows cut in 8ths allows more surface to absorb the custard and juices. Minis have too much coating.
