6 C. lukewarm water
3 T. salt
1/2 C. sugar
3/4 C. melted shortening
3 pks. yeast
6 C. flour (or enough until the dough isn't sticky)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix it and let stand for 20 minutes. Punch down and mix it again and put into greased bread pans. Let rise to the top. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until top of crust when tapped sounds hollow.

I do not remember how many loaf pans this filled and it's not in the copy of the recipe I have. But this is a lot of water and flour and I imagine at least 3 pans.
