3/4 C. shortening
1 C. brown sugar
1/4 C. molasses
2 C. flour
1 egg
2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. Roll into balls. Dip into sugar and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees.
