12 eggs
3 cups milk
loaf of sandwich bread
3 cups of diced cooked ham
10 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
10 oz shredded swiss cheese
1/2 tsp onion salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan with butter. Cut the crusts from several slices of sandwich bread and also cut the bread in half into triangles. Cover the bottom of the baking dish with the slices. Mix the eggs, milk, butter and seasoning. For the first layer on the bread, use 1/2 of the ham. Next layer is the layer of cheddar cheese, followed by the egg mixture. To the top, add the rest of the ham and the swiss cheese. Can top with optional parmesan cheese if desired. Bake at 375 for 50-60 min.

This is a great dish to have ready for large company that spends the night. The casserole can be made the night before, covered, and put in the fridge. It is great to have coming out of the oven while folks are stirring and having coffee. Introduced to me by Aunt Maxine when she was hosting out of town guests for a Purdue football home game.
