1 lb powdered sugar
1 lb brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Very easy. Cream margarine and add remaining ingredients. Freeze mixture. To serve, add 2 tbsp. of mixture (more to taste) to 8 oz. of hot water. Can add spiced rum or drink without. Add whip cream to top. For a storable variation, add all ingredients together except the ice cream, put in a jar, and refrigerate for later use.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was a favorite drink when I was stationed in Germany and the cold weather rolled around. My favorite memories are that in October of every year the base would host a bazaar and invite many merchants from around Europe to what was a memorable shopping experience. The spouses from my squadron would serve this up hot to shoppers and the smell always reminds me of Germany, shopping, and the approaching holiday season.
