3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 garlic cloves, minced
12 oz. fresh button mushrooms, halved or quartered
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. finely shredded Parmesan cheese
3 cups hot cooked pasta (fettucine)

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, heat butter and oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring occasionally. Sitr in mushrooms, 1/2 tsp. salt and dash of pepper. Cook 4-5 minutes more or until mushrooms are tender and lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Add cream. Bring just to boiling; reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered, for 2-3 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cheese until melted.

To serve, spoon mushroom sauce over pasta.
