32 oz. bag frozen hashbrowns, partially thawed
1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine ( melted)
1 c. onions, very finely minced
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 16 oz. carton sour cream
1 c. cheddar cheese
2 c. cooked, cubed ham (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Sprinkle crushed potato chips on top. Cover with foil. Bake covered in 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Take off foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.

Ham is optional for making this potato recipe into a hotdish. It also works great as a side dish for a ham dinner or pot luck.
