2 quarts chopped tomatoes ( skin removed )
3 lg. chopped green peppers
3 med. chopped onions
1 lg. clove garlic, chopped
1 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. each, oregano, salt, crushed red pepper, chili powder.

Bring to boil and simmer 5 hours, pack into hot jars and water bath 10 min.

If you want to make a hot version of this, replace 1 green pepper with 3 jalapeņo pepper's
